For a new equipment build, an approved design revision or a repeat batch, send the current part files and order quantity. We review the finished bracket, including its mounting geometry, material, surface finish and inspection requirements.
Bent Mounting Brackets and Offset Supports
Typical requirements include non-standard mounting brackets with bent flanges, stepped or offset mounting surfaces, tabs, round holes and slots. These are made-to-drawing parts, with dimensions and mounting arrangements defined for your assembly.

Mounting Dimensions After Bending
A hole pattern can be correct in the flat blank while the formed bracket still fails to meet its mounting requirements. For stepped brackets and features on different faces, define the dimensions and references that control the finished part.
The formed CAD model shows the geometry. The 2D drawing should identify tolerances, reference surfaces and requirements that the model does not fully communicate.

If you supply a flat-pattern file, identify its revision and whether it is a reference or a controlled manufacturing requirement. Differences between the flat pattern, formed model and drawing need to be resolved before production. Any proposed change to your specified geometry requires approval.
Material and Finish Requirements
Include the material grade and sheet thickness in the RFQ. Availability and suitability for the specified part are reviewed before quotation; a proposed material substitution will not be used without your approval.
For a finished bracket, specify the treatment and relevant color, texture and visible-surface requirements. Identify masking areas, surfaces that must remain uncoated and any critical dimensions to be checked after finishing. An appearance photograph can support these requirements but does not replace a finish specification.
State whether you are ordering unfinished brackets or parts with the specified finish completed. This keeps the quotation and inspection scope aligned with the required delivery condition.
Inspection, Quantities and Repeat Orders
Identify the features to inspect and any documents needed with the parts. If you require a dimensional report, specify the dimensions to report and how many parts must be measured. Additional inspection and reporting costs are reflected in the quotation according to the agreed scope.
Inspection checks the agreed features against the supplied drawing; it does not validate the bracket in the complete assembly. Your engineering team remains responsible for design and assembly validation.
List the quantity for each part number. Separate the current prototype or production batch from possible later quantities. For a repeat order, confirm the drawing revision and any changes to material, finish or inspection requirements so the earlier specification is not carried forward incorrectly.
